Swizzels Matlow confectionery has been loved since 1928. The company was launched by brothers Alfred and Maurice Matlow (and was originally named Matlow Bros. Ltd.) to make jelly sweets in a small factory in London.
In 1975, after almost half a decade of success, the company became Swizzels Matlow Ltd.
Since then, Swizzels Matlow has offered a wide range of confectionery that's been loved and still is loved today by children, parents and grandparents across the nation. Now in 2014, the company is known simply as 'Swizzels' and continues to go from strength to strength.
When one of the team at Retroscents bought in a bag of their favourite Swizzels sweets, we caught the sweet scent as they were handed round and it made complete 'scents' to capture these much loved sweets' fragrances in something that could be enjoyed without the need to open or eat the candy itself.
